Your desk is clean. You’ve thrown away non-essential belongings, keeping meaningful items. You understand yourself and your needs. Hell, you’ve inventoried everything and your environment is perfect… a safe harbor to your OCD tendencies. You’ve even taken extra initiative to to be environmentally conscious. What’s left?
Sometimes I’m so busy worrying about the appearance of clutter that I forget to tend to the clutter that weighs inside my head. While even seemingly simple… they haunt us… and sometimes I need to remind myself of these things in order to de-clutter my thoughts, make room for meaningful thoughts. Here’s a few things I consider:
- I need forgive.
- Move on from regrets
- Let go of grudges
- Look past contempt of others I deem inferior
- Respect differences
- Stop making excuses
- Confront problems sober of anger and lack of sleep
- Identify emotional disorder
I hope they help you find your hidden weight.
